NEEDHAM 15 (037-13110)
Needham 15 was spudded by Morton and Dolley on 4/23/1954. It was completed on 5/2/1954 at a total depth of 1597 feet. Initital production was .5 bpd of 14 deg. gravity oil. After 30 days, production was 1 bpd of 14 deg. oil. In 1968, Needham 15 was converted to a waste water injection well. In 1991 the well was plugged and abandoned. Here, we can see that a casing extension was welded on to the top of the existing casing. (Photo date 2/11/2018)
I never really noticed this well, so I don't have many photos. It did not need a rig, so it wasn't re-abandoned. By this photo, the PVC pipe for venting has been installed.. (5/27/2018)
